Learner Support
At SHIFT we are committed to providing exceptional support every step of the way. As a result 75% of our Students progressed into Employment or Further Education in 2009/10 and 90% of our Students leave with Vocational and/or Foundation Skills Qualifications.
Financial Support
Here at SHIFT we want to make it as easy as possible for young learners to start their training. SHIFT will reimburse travel expenses for young learners to and from the centre. If a young learner is 16-18 years old SHIFT can also organise and provide Young Persons Travelcards for use on buses, trams and trains.

Have your say!
At SHIFT we are keen to hear what our students have to say, good or bad! We avidly encourage you to let us know how we can improve the training you receive. Our Learner Forum allows our students to present us with any views and suggestions they may have and we will take them on board.
SHIFT has made many changes based on the feedback from our students, and will continue to do so! Here are just some of the changes implemented as result of student feedback:
New computer suite, day trips & enrichment activities, a dedicated job club, a ‘Chill-out’ room with food & drink making facilities, dedicated ‘key skills’ sessions, more one-on-one time and making course units more digestible!
YOUR OPINION MATTERS!
